Update 10 - Pledge Manager this week
over 2 years ago – Sat, Dec 18, 2021 at 04:18:25 PM

Pledge manager

Finally I found the time to send you an update on Snake - The Board Game! December is a busy month in the Netherlands and a lot had to be done. Actually, I wanted to send the link to the Pledge Manager today, but it turned out it still needs some review and confirmation steps from Backerkit. I assume that this can be settled during the week, after which I will send you the survey.

Final samples

This week I received the last samples from the manufacturer. The rocks look great! They fit so well into the game and are a nice addition.

New samples have also been made of the red snake segments. The previous ones were a bit too pale and orange and now a deeper red color (left) has been chosen. This color red has already been used in all images and videos in this campaign.

Shipment and fulfillment

Initially I planned to work with 3 fulfillment partners (EU/US/UK) but with the current numbers the partner in the US has dropped out. All shipments outside the EU are therefore sent from the UK by Spiral Galaxy Games. Shipments within the EU are handled by Rocks Games. The fulfillment details have now been agreed with both parties and I look forward to working with them. The prices and conditions for shipping indicated in the campaign will be maintained despite these changes.

The manufacturer still indicates that production will be finished by mid-January and is currently trying to reserve a shipment before the Chinese New Year. This remains a challenge with all Covid developments worldwide.

Altogether, the progress is good and I'm really looking forward to sending you the game!

Update #9 - Hurray
over 2 years ago – Mon, Nov 29, 2021 at 07:23:15 PM

Hurray!

The campaign has ended and what an awesome result!

382 backers! Thanks to you, Snake - The Board Game can now come to life. I can't thank you enough for this!

As indicated, preparations for production are already in full swing. The coming week will be spent figuring out the fulfillment details and setting up Backerkit. After this I hope to be able to activate the pledge manager for you as soon as possible.

Update #8 - Unlocks, rule book and deliverables
over 2 years ago – Sat, Nov 27, 2021 at 07:36:38 PM

Stretch goals unlocked

A day later and there is again a lot to tell.

In the update yesterday, I asked you if there were any problems with stretch goal #3 being unlocked. And you were very clear! Thanks for the nice comments and as can be seen on the campaign page, stretch goals #2 and #3 are now unlocked!

English rule book available for download

The English manual is ready! You can download it by clicking this button:

If you still encounter errors, be quick with reporting them because it will soon be sent to the manufacturer!

New designs

This week I received the samples for the metal apples from the Deluxe edition. And they are cute! They are not yet provided with the gold-colored metal coating, but the shape next to them indicates how that will be. You won't see the scratches anymore... at least that's what I've been told.

And finally the latest news: the box designs are also ready for production! Check out what your game will look like here:

Keep sharing!

With only 5 days to go, I would like to ask you again to share this project in your network as much as possible! Hopefully we can make a final sprint in the last few days!
